It is reported that during the heating season of 2016-2017, the Wuzhou Railway Bureau and Nanshan have about 27,000 square meters of pilot areas using air source heat pumps for heating.

The staff of the marketing department of the State Grid Urumqi Power Supply Company said: If the pilot is successful, the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. Urumqi will vigorously promote the implementation and gradually phase out coal-fired heating.

As is known to all, in order to control smog and adjust the energy structure, local governments represented by Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, and Shandong have introduced policies and measures to reduce coal and exchange coal and clean the air. The use of air source heat pump equipment for the replacement of loose coal in rural areas has become an important measure for governments at all levels to achieve clean air and coal reduction. In fact, long before the government-led pilots used air-energy heat pump heating, the product has been scaled up and applied in Xinjiang, especially in Hotan. So far, the total installed capacity of air source heat pump heating and cooling projects in Hetian, Xinjiang has exceeded 400,000 square meters. The largest single project area is the second high school in Yutian County, with a total area of 72,000 square meters and another 100 tons/day sanitary hot water project. The single project covers an area of 30,000-30,000 square meters and more than 30 under 10,000 square meters.

It can be seen that as long as the appropriate equipment and scientific design are selected, the air source heat pump can certainly replace the coal-fired boiler in Xinjiang, contributing a great force to the national plan of “reducing coal for clean air”.
