During the winter season, the guests of Yuyang International Ski Resort in the northwestern part of Beijing are like a cloud. A group of young people dressed in uniforms start from the primary road. After just ten days, they have been able to freely slide on the high-level road. They are the Beijing Sports Vocational College. The first batch of ice sports service and promotion recruited by the sports operation and management profession in the fall of 2016.

Yang Yang, deputy dean of Beijing Sports Vocational College, said that the vocational college is training a high-level "blue collar", focusing on the opportunity of the 2022 Winter Olympics for the development of China's ice and snow industry. The talents of the ice and snow industry are not limited to management operations, sports specials, etc. In the field, the demand for talents has increased significantly from type to quantity.

As one of the earliest ski enthusiasts in Beijing, Bai Ruiqi, who is over 60 years old, skied from the Saibei Ski Resort in Zhangjiakou Chongli in the late 1990s. He is now a senior ski training instructor in the industry. The situation is well known. Bai Ruiqi introduced that from the operation of the ski resort, it is necessary to repair and maintain the ski equipment, equipment storage, magic carpet cable car and other equipment maintenance, artificial snowmaking, snow machine driving and other security positions, these positions are professional for the staff. Levels are required. When people talk about skiing, they may think that only the ski instructor has the highest level of professionalism. In fact, the professional personnel involved in ice and snow are far more than the coach. In general, there are currently a shortage of talents in various positions in the current ski resorts in China, and some positions have even been in a state of blank talents. As far as the preparations for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022 are concerned, if the domestic professional talents are not available in the country, the Olympic Games will be introduced from abroad when the Beijing Winter Olympics will be held. There are possible things.

It is also based on the consideration of serving the winter Olympics and cultivating domestic ice and snow industry talents. In February 2015, before the successful bid for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022, the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau requested the Beijing Sports Vocational College to prepare for the ice and snow sports service and promotion profession. On the basis of Beijing's ice and snow talent training nearly one poor and two white, Beijing Sports Vocational College cooperated with Heilongjiang Ice and Snow Sports Vocational College to improve the level of teachers. In the fall of 2016, the first batch of professional freshmen and snowmen were welcomed.

However, the students who come to the ski resort are not only skiing skills, but more importantly, they are exposed to and understand the various jobs in the operation of the ski resort and explore the direction of their future work.

According to Bai Ruiqi, in foreign countries, a senior technician who maintains ski equipment can earn 200 euros per hour, which is praised by many students, but behind such a high salary is the technician's high professionalism and long-term work experience. This is where we should pay more attention.

Liu Jingtang, who also applied for the ice and snow professional at Beijing Sports Vocational College, also believes that he is not enough to understand the snow sports and related job opportunities and requirements. It is his own direction to continue reading undergraduate courses after graduating from college.

On the one hand, the demand for talents in the domestic ice and snow industry, on the other hand, the talent cultivation of the domestic ice and snow industry has just started, and many fields are still in the exploratory stage. In Yang Yang’s view, this is an opportunity for the establishment of ice and snow colleges. challenge.

Since the rise of the sports industry to the national strategy in October 2014, the talent gap in the sports industry, including ice and snow, has become increasingly evident. Yi Jiandong, dean of the School of Physical Education of the National Development Research Institute of Peking University, recently revealed that by 2020, China The talent gap in the sports industry will reach 1.7 million.
