Tianjin Announces the 13th Five-Year Plan for Renewable Energy Development

It was learned from the Tianjin Development and Reform Commission that the “13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Renewable Energy in Tianjin” was recently implemented. According to the plan, Tianjin will further increase the development and utilization of renewable energy, especially in the areas of solar power generation, wind power generation, comprehensive utilization of biomass energy, and development of thermal resources, and implement a series of key projects to continuously increase the utilization of renewable energy. It is planned to achieve an annual replacement of 3.2 million tons of standard coal by 2020.     



   

It is reported that at present, Tianjin's renewable energy has achieved rapid development, and its utilization in power generation, heating, and green building applications has increased. The proportion of renewable energy in the city has increased from 1% in 2010 to 3% in 2015; renewable The installed capacity of energy and power has been expanding, from 75,000 kilowatts in 2010 to 542,000 kilowatts in 2015. The level of renewable energy industry, which is mainly based on wind power equipment and photovoltaic module manufacturing, has been continuously improved, forming a relatively complete industrial chain.


    "To achieve the goal of air pollution prevention and control, Tianjin will need to reduce 10 million tons of raw coal by 2012. The task of coal reduction and replacement is very difficult. Developing clean energy including renewable energy is one of the effective ways." According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, “Overall, the overall development and utilization of renewable resources in this city is small, the consumption method is not flexible, and the industrial level needs to be improved.”


    It is understood that Tianjin will implement a series of key projects in solar power generation, wind power generation, comprehensive utilization of biomass energy, and development of thermal resources, and strive to increase the utilization of renewable resources. For example, the implementation of biomass heating demonstration project, the implementation of Jinghai biomass gasification and Baoji, Xiqing biomass molding fuel heating and other demonstration projects to promote biomass heating in the chemical, mechanical, pharmaceutical and other industries with high thermal demand. Application, etc.


    According to the plan, by 2020, Tianjin's renewable energy utilization accounted for more than 4% of primary energy consumption; renewable energy power generation installed capacity reached 2.12 million kilowatts, accounting for 10% of the city's total installed capacity. By 2020, the city's renewable energy utilization can replace 3.2 million tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 7.7 million tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by 0.82 million tons, nitrogen oxide emissions by 111,000 tons, and smoke (powder) dust emissions by 0.54 million tons.
